Wenger wheels to second in season debut at FALS
Hometown driver McKay Wenger kicked off his 2026 season close to home this past weekend, piloting his Popejoy Plumbing / Dimmit Transfer No. 42 Longhorn Chassis Late Model at Fairbury Speedway.
Wenger moved forward in both of his events on the night, advancing one position in his heat race to finish third before charging ahead three spots in the 25-lap feature to score a runner-up finish. He joined race-winner Jason Feger and third-place finisher Mike Spatola on the podium.
