McKay Wenger doubles up at Farmer City and FALS, collects $4,000

McKay Wenger returned to action over the weekend at a pair of Illinois bullrings and ended the doubleheader with two wins aboard his Curless Motorsports No. 99 Longhorn Chassis Super Late Model.

After starting the night off with a heat race triumph at Farmer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday, Wenger wired the 25-lap feature to claim his fifth victory of the season and the $1,500 winner's payday.

In another dominant performance on Saturday at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway, McKay topped the 26-car field in time trials before capturing a heat and feature win. He collected the $2,500 paycheck ahead of Allen Weisser, Kyle Hammer, Jeffrey Ledford, and Myles Moos.
