Wenger tops FCR field for second win of 2022 campaign

Outrunning Mike Spatola in his heat race and the feature, Wenger soared to his second win of the season ahead of Spatola, Bob Gardner, Tommy Sheppard Jr., and Logan Moody. He earned $1,000.

On Saturday afternoon at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.), McKay followed up the seventh-fastest lap in qualifying with a heat race win over Mike Provenzano. With $2,500 on the line in the feature, Wenger dropped one spot in the 30-lapper to place second. He followed Ryan Unzicker across the line with Tommy Sheppard Jr. rounding out the podium.
