Mechanical issues bring Wenger's 2020 season to an end

Tuesday night found McKay Wenger in action at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) competing in a stout field of 44 Late Models for the $15,000-to-win One for the Road. After lingering mechanical issues prevented him from completing a lap in time trials, Wenger failed to make the call for both his heat race, and B-Main.

On Saturday night, Wenger returned to Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) looking to pick up the win in the final round of the FALS Cup. Following the fifth fastest time overall in qualifying, McKay was an early retiree from his 8-lap heat race. Starting the $2,500-to-win A-Main in 15th, McKay Wenger suffered a broken spool in his rear-end that brought a disappointing end to his weekend.
