With
the 2008 racing season officially over for McKay Wenger
Racing. We get the opportunity to look back on the
excellent statistically season. McKay won a career
best seven features in '08, six at Vermilion County Speedway
and one at Fairbury. This puts Wenger with 18 career
feature victories in a UMP Modified. McKay also picked
up his first career track championship as he dominated each
week at the Vermilion County Speedway. He was so close
to winning the points at Fairbury, but got edged by Dave
Porth to finish 2nd in their track points.
In the UMP Points standings, Wenger
sits 9th in the Nation, 3rd in the North Region, and 3rd in
the Illinois State pending a final audit of all points.
A special thanks goes out to all sponsors, family, friends,
